Rocky Road 101

The thing I like about rocky road ice cream is how it has that multi-level complexity going on - kinda like life. There are bumps, mushy spots and some rich sweetness mixed in to make it all come together in all its wonderful weirdness. The bumps in life are not to be ignored. They need to be experienced, remembered and people need to do something extraordinary: learn from them.  After all, the bumps usually provide a better perspective when a person takes the time to look around while standing on one. I should know. I'm living the rocky road.
